Wooranna Park Primary School situated in the Melbourne suburb of Dandenong North, has just scored a new VuePix outdoor LED Video wall display, installed by our partners at Vision One.
The Wooranna Park Primary School prides itself as ‘a place of optimism, excitement and challenge’ and excels in fostering a creative, interactive and innovative teaching and learning environment for its students. The school transforms learning into an adventure for its diverse, multicultural community – a mission statement only further exemplified by the recent unveiling of their state-of-the-art VuePix outdoor LED video wall display.
The 10mm pixel pitch video wall – 2.3m wide x 1.5m high – was custom-manufactured by VuePix to fit the previously vacant wall space on the administration building of the school.
The 10mm pixel pitch video wall – 2.3m wide x 1.5m high – was custom-manufactured by VuePix to fit the previously vacant wall space on the administration building of the school.
Featuring the VuePix B series panels, developed specifically for fixed outdoor installations, the screen offers an excellent brightness of 6,000 nits. The panels are prepared to withstand harsh environment factors such as direct UV rays, varying temperatures, constant vibrations and severe weather conditions. To provide protection against vandalism, Ultralift Australia manufactured a custom built Perspex frame and bracketing structure to be attached seamlessly to the front of the video wall.
The content for the screen is distributed via a laptop and an RGBlink Venus-X1 scaller. The scaller allows the user to define image sizing and coordinating, dual image processing, multiple cascade mapping, different user configurations and controlling, key in and out and other advanced functions.
Vision One were the proud collaborators on this project, providing the Wooranna Park Primary School and all their young students a perfect entranceway to the future.
